It is the cheapest and the most sensible first step if you are here for the first time and do not know where to start. «Uzhhorod: coffee and mini-sculptures» also runs two hours, but costs 1,300 UAH and tells a different story: the cafés of the old town, the Under the Castle café-museum, the Uzh embankment and Teatralna Square. The evening walking excursion (1,500 UAH, 2 hours) is the same town under lights, with its lanes, squares and castle legends, and it is usually taken by people who have already seen the centre by day.

Next by length comes the three-hour night drive, «Uzhhorod by night», at 2,700 UAH: Petofi Square, the castle, the panorama of the city lights and the lights of the border. It is the priciest item here, and since it is a driving format there is almost no walking involved. The one long route stands apart: the 8-hour bus excursion «Uzhhorod and Its Surroundings» at 600 UAH. It leaves the centre for the Horiany Rotunda and adds the mini-sculptures, Zakarpattian coffee and the thermal pools. In hours per hryvnia it is the most generous offer on the page, but be realistic: eight hours with small children is a full day, and a two-hour walk through the centre is far easier on them.

Two formats fall outside the usual schedule logic. The team quests through old Uzhhorod, at 550 UAH, are built for your own group, with riddles and town secrets rather than a guide walking ahead of a crowd. And «Uzhhorod with a photographer» is quoted on request: it has no fixed per-person price because everything is calculated for the particular order - the manager asks for the date, the number of people and the kind of shoot, and only then names the price and the length. If you would rather walk with your own company and nobody else, there are private excursions with a personal guide, where the route, the date and the guide are chosen for you.

The practical side is the same for all seven. We meet in the centre, on Koriatovych Square, with the exact spot given on each excursion page. Be there no later than ten minutes before the start: the group does not wait for latecomers. We deliberately do not publish exact start times on the site - they depend on the date and the make-up of the group, so the manager confirms them separately when you book. A request on the site is not yet a booking: the booking exists once the manager has confirmed the date and you have paid the 50% deposit.

About money, plainly and in advance. The price covers the excursion service, the work of the guide, and transport where the route uses a bus. Entrance tickets are paid separately, and in Uzhhorod that is a noticeable item: the castle, the Old Village museum and the museums all have their own ticket desks. Meals and personal spending are extra as well. Children under 14 take part only in the company of an adult, and children under 12 have their own price calculated from the adult one, so give their ages as soon as you book. Groups of seven or more get 10% off, which is exactly where the quests and the bus route pay off.

Weather does not cancel anything: the excursions run in any conditions. On the walking routes you are on your feet for the full two hours, so comfortable shoes matter more than anything else, along with clothing for the weather, water and a raincoat in reserve.
