Two or three days. The two-day tours are Budapest for the weekend and Eger with Hajdúszoboszló: one full day on site plus an overnight stay. The three-day ones are Budapest and Vienna, the thermal trio and the corporate tour with Tokaj: those have two nights, and on the thermal trio and the corporate tour both nights are in the same hotel, so nothing needs repacking. The overnight stay is always a hotel with breakfast, and that cost is already in the tour price.
Travelling abroad requires a biometric foreign passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date. A child must have their own foreign passport. A domestic passport or ID card is not sufficient to cross the border.
Yes. Every Hungarian tour has a double pick-up: first Uzhhorod, Koriatovych Square, then Mukachevo. It adds 45-50 minutes to the schedule and requires no separate transfer fee. The manager confirms the exact pick-up time together with the departure date.
Departure from Uzhhorod is at 05:30-06:00 depending on the tour, and from Mukachevo 45 minutes later. Early - so as to cross the border while traffic is lighter and gain a full day on site instead of a night on the coach. Travel time depends on the queue at the border, so the tour schedule is approximate.
On the Eger and Hajdúszoboszló tour the second day at Hungarospa runs until about 15:00, after which the coach sets off back. On the thermal trio the whole second day belongs to the baths, and the third goes to Debrecen. Entry to the thermal complexes is not included in the tour price; an estimated budget is given on each tour page.

The destination works all year round, but the seasons differ. The thermal routes - Hajdúszoboszló, Debrecen, Nyíregyháza - are most comfortable from October to March: hot water in the open air makes the most sense in winter. The city routes to Budapest and Eger are pleasanter in spring and autumn, when there is no heat. December brings the Christmas markets. The corporate tour with the Tokaj cellars runs from April to October.
A day trip leaves Uzhhorod early in the morning and brings you home the same evening - you see one city or one thermal complex. A multi-day tour gives you a full day on site instead of half of one: a night in a hotel with breakfast, an evening in the city and a second day with no driving. The price differs by roughly three times, and how much you see by roughly two.
Budapest and Eger with Hajdúszoboszló run all year round. The thermal trio is a winter format, from October to March: that is when hot water in the open air makes the most sense. The corporate tour with Tokaj runs from April to October, while the cellars are open and the roads in the Bükk are passable.
You need a biometric foreign passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date; a child must have their own. The EES system has been in operation since 10 April 2026: fingerprints and a photograph are taken at the border. ETIAS is not yet running; launch is expected in Q4 2026. Booking and cancellation. You send an enquiry from the tour page, the manager confirms the date, and the manager tells you the prepayment; the balance is due before departure. Cancellation terms follow the Booking Rules: more than 2 days before the start, 10% of the price is retained; less than 2 days, 50%.
