The "walking" label is not a formality - bring proper shoes and expect to be on your feet.

Now the money, plainly. Prices are fixed per person: 2500, 3700, 3800 and 3900 ₴. That already covers transport, a professional guide and insurance. Entrance tickets to museums, caves and castles are paid separately - not a hidden surcharge, simply the standard for trips of this kind, so bring some cash or a card. Children and concession categories travel at a discount. Lunch is not included in the price, but a lunch stop is always built into the programme.

The thing to check before you book is your documents. You need a biometric international passport valid for at least three months after your return date. A child must hold their own international passport - adding them to a parent's document does not work. A domestic passport or ID card is not enough to cross the border. This is the single most common reason people do not travel, and the easiest one to sort out in advance.

The second thing to be ready for is the early start. Departure is in the morning, because a 16 to 17-hour day simply does not fit into a calendar day otherwise. The group crosses the border together and the guide handles documents and insurance, but nobody controls the queue at the checkpoint. Leave yourself a buffer in the evening and do not schedule anything important for the day you return.
