Tour to Slovakia: Belianska Cave, Levoča and Spiš Castle in the High Tatras

Belianska Cave (Belianska jaskyňa) - tour to Slovakia
One of the most beautiful caves in Slovakia, located in the Belianske Tatras. It is the only cave in the region open to visitors.
During the tour you will walk through over 1.3 km of underground corridors, where you will see:

fantastic stalactites and stalagmites;

karst formations of various shapes;

underground halls and lakes;

the famous Concert Hall with its unique natural acoustics.
The temperature in the cave is around 5-6 °C, so it is worth bringing warm clothing. Along the route you will need to climb about 866 steps, but the walk proceeds at a relaxed excursion pace.
Levoča (Levoča) - a medieval UNESCO town
A cosy old town in eastern Slovakia, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Levoča has preserved its medieval atmosphere and one of the most beautiful historic squares in the country.
During the walk you will see:

St James’s Church with the unique wooden altar by Master Pavol;

the Old Town Hall in Renaissance style;

the historic “Cage of Shame”;

the charming central square with colourful houses.

Spiš Castle - the largest castle in Slovakia
A magnificent medieval fortress rising on a cliff more than 200 metres above the surrounding valleys.
Spiš Castle is one of the largest castle complexes in Europe, with an area of around 4 hectares. The castle was founded in the 11th-12th centuries and even withstood the Mongol-Tatar invasion in the 13th century.
Today it is one of the main historical landmarks of Slovakia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In a single day you will discover the underground world of the Tatras, the atmosphere of a medieval town and the grandeur of Slovakia’s ancient fortresses. It is a full but comfortable journey that will give you many new impressions and beautiful photographs.
