Crossing the Ukrainian-Hungarian border and transferring to the picturesque resort of Lillafüred, set in the Bükk Mountains on the shore of Lake Hámori.

Lillafüred - a resort that is beautiful at any time of year

Lillafüred is one of the most romantic places in Hungary. Here mountains, forests, waterfalls and an architectural gem - a fairy-tale palace - blend in harmony. You can stroll along forest paths, enjoy the views of the lake, take striking photos and feel the true peace of nature.

A special highlight is a visit to the St Stephen’s Stalactite Cave - one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Hungary. The average temperature in the cave is around +10°C, so we recommend bringing warm clothing. Thanks to its unique microclimate the cave has healing properties and is renowned for its crystal-clear air.

Miskolc - an ancient city with a unique atmosphere

Next you will get acquainted with Miskolc - one of Hungary’s largest and most interesting cities, set at the foot of the Bükk mountain range. During the sightseeing tour you will see the central part of the city, including Town Hall Square (Városház tér) - a vivid example of Hungarian architecture of the 18th-19th centuries.

The Miskolc-Tapolca thermal baths

The main gem of the tour is the unique thermal baths inside caves, which have no equal in Europe. The baths were formed by nature over millennia by thermal waters. Here underground rivers, waterfalls, warm pools and jacuzzis all come together.

Please note: bathing in the caves is currently temporarily unavailable; however, the visit takes place in open-air thermal pools with healing mineral water. Nearby lies a well-kept park - the perfect place for a walk and relaxation.
