Jeeping in Transcarpathia - is a unique chance to enjoy the extraordinary nature of the mighty Carpathian mountains and to feel the adrenaline while riding powerful off-road vehicles across seemingly impassable off-road terrain.
Jeeping in Transcarpathia - is a unique chance to escape the city bustle and the beaten tracks and to gather new impressions and adrenaline. It is a special, incredible attraction, precisely for those who love nature, who want to colour their grey routine with thrills and stunning extreme, to test their own endurance and to feel all the romance of wonderful travels.
The programme includes:
- Departure from Uzhhorod to Polonyna Runa.
- Arrival at the starting point of the jeeping. The road passes through Uzhhorod, Perechyn and the mountain village of Lumshory, which are famous for their unique vats of mineral water, waterfalls, springs and authentic Transcarpathian cuisine. A tarmac road leads up to Polonyna Runa itself - once a radar station operated here. Nearby stand the ruins of military bunkers, as well as a memorial in honour of the Ukrainian partisan heroes.
- Transfer to Polonyna Runa. Riding across the highland meadow, enjoying the wonderful scenery that opens up from an altitude of 1478 m above sea level. Powerful and comfortable off-road vehicles, which fear neither steep slopes nor deep bogs, are ready to send you off to meet adventure - on a jeep trip into the mountains! Thrilling views that stop your heart await you. It is a unique chance to see the real Carpathians and to feel the true thrill of mountain off-roading.
- A rest stop after the extreme off-road ride. A picnic in nature with Transcarpathian wine.
- Continuing the route. Along the way, even more thrilling panoramic scenery and changes in altitude.
- a stop in the mountain village of Lumshory:
- SPA treatments: alternating bathing in vats of hot mineral water and a cold mountain river. Unforgettable impressions! A huge cast-iron vat with a capacity of about 2000 litres stands in the middle of a wooden kolyba without a roof. It is filled with mineral water and heated with firewood over an open flame. Several stones lie in the vat. You climb inside (4-5 people), and the hospitable host adds firewood to the fire and “cooks” you over a slow flame. As soon as you feel your blood start to boil (although in fact the water is heated to no more than + 45 ° C), jump out! A few steps away - an icy mountain stream; you dive into it - and back into the vat.
- Return to Uzhhorod.
