The "Hedzo" park of legends. Step inside and you land straight in a fantastical world of elves, hobbits and other magical creatures. There are heaps of great photo spots for adults and children alike, some of them even with props, such as elven cloaks. So this park is simply the perfect place to fill the family album with pictures from the elven cave and cottages, the residence of the master of "Hedzo", and of Darmilo the fisherman and mushroom gatherer. There is also a real hobbit pub on the grounds, a mini-zoo and a treasure palace with a shop selling themed souvenirs; there are lakes, waterfalls and swings.
Another unique creation of human hands - the Upside-Down House and the Giant's House ! The upside-down house in the Carpathians is the first building of its kind in Ukraine; in all there are no more than ten such house-museums. Carpathian craftsmen built it in 45 days. Although it looks small from the outside, its floor area is 85 m2. The upside-down house, like every other house, has foundations, but its foundations are at the top and the whole building stands on its roof. Inside, the Upside-Down House is just like the outside - everything is upside down. When you walk in on the ground floor you find yourself in the attic, which in ordinary houses is at the top. There is also a lavatory there and a massive wooden staircase leading up into a room.
Next door there is a large souvenir market where local people sell all sorts of herbal teas, honey gathered in different seasons, dried mushrooms and a wide range of drinks. They also sell original items made of fur and wood, along with authentic Hutsul jewellery.
Contented and full of new impressions, we head home.
