The ascent of Mount Hoverla - one of the most popular routes in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
Although Hoverla is the highest peak in Ukraine, the climb to its summit is not particularly difficult. That is probably one of the reasons for its popularity.
They say that every Ukrainian should climb Hoverla, and we agree with this statement. Here, at an altitude of 2061 metres above sea level, you forget the fatigue and everyday worries left below, all the incredible effort you put in to get here, and you realise - «yes, it is worth it!». And the feelings that overcome you at the summit are impossible to describe or put into words.
From Hoverla stunning panoramas open onto the Svydovets and Chornohora ranges - the breathtaking scenery of the Carpathian mountains stretching for many kilometres around. If you are lucky with the weather, you will also see the neighbouring two-thousanders - Pip Ivan Chornohirskyi and Petros. Here the clouds hang right above your head; just reach out your hand and you will touch something fantastic, elusive and otherworldly!
The day begins quite early, as it will be very busy and its main goal is the ascent of Ukraine’s highest peak - the beautiful Hoverla (2061 m). Climbing the mountain - is a kind of conquest of the «little Everest», and not only because it is the highest peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians, but also because the view that opens from here is so breathtaking that it takes your breath away, tears of delight come to your eyes and your soul fills with pride that our land holds such beauty!

- The ascent of Hoverla takes about 3 hours. The descent takes a little less time. The climb is within the reach even of unprepared people, children, teenagers and the elderly.
- A photo at the summit of Hoverla is a must!
- On the way back we will visit, as you choose: the legendary restaurant “Hagarin i Bokorash”, the «Tsypa» gastropub or a kolyba museum, and, of course, the geographical centre of Europe.
- We return home full of positive and vivid impressions, charged with the energy of the mountains and a little tired.
The moment of reaching Hoverla’s summit will stay in your memory forever. When you stand upon it - silent and proud, when your pulse settles, the trembling in your legs eases, when you catch your breath and look around… It is for this grandeur, this beauty, this delight, this wave of deep personal emotion that sweeps over you that people go to the mountains.
