Tour programme
Arrival in Yaremche. The group is met by a guide at the railway station.
A walking tour of the town.
An excursion around the Dovbush Rocks.
The Dovbush Rocks are a unique natural monument with a rich and ancient history. From the 10th century they served as a dwelling place and a fortress performing watchtower duties. The settlement existed right up to the 16th century. But the rocks owe their fame to the legend that this was the base of the Ukrainian Robin Hood - the opryshok Oleksa Dovbush. - Lunch. - A visit to the animal enclosures . Roe deer, wild boar, eagles and other representatives of Carpathian fauna, all in plain view. Here all the animals and birds are kept in semi-free conditions. The deer will thank you for a fruit dessert - they will carefully take a piece of apple from your hand through a special gap in the fence and, without going far, wait for another helping.
Dinner.
Check-in at the cottages.
8:00 Breakfast.
Transfer to the Zarosliak sports base , where the ascent to Ukraine's highest peak begins.
The climb to the summit with an instructor takes 3-3.5 hours. And then, having conquered a demanding route, you are at the top! What a view! Mountain peaks wrapped in blue-grey mist, the sun hidden away somewhere behind them, and the clouds - close enough to touch with your hand!
On the summit stand several symbols: a cross, a sculptural monument with the Ukrainian coat of arms, the flag of Ukraine and of other states whose representatives have been here, and a slab into which capsules of soil from every region of Ukraine have been set.
A photograph to remember it by - absolutely essential!
Packed lunch.
The descent takes about 2 hours.
Return to Yaremche.
Breakfast. Check-out from the cottage.
Driving through the small towns of Tatariv and Mykulychyn. Learning about the unique history of these settlements.
The Upside-Down House . What makes this house unique is that both outside and inside everything is topsy-turvy.
A visit to the Bukovel resort . A tour of the resort. A ride on the chairlift.
Lunch.
An excursion to the Zhenetskyi Huk waterfall. The Huk is a natural site that ranks among the largest waterfalls of the Carpathians. It is stunning, giving you a rush of powerful emotions and a sense of harmony at the same time! A straight road leads to it - 3 km of perfectly smooth asphalt (thanks to the former president of Ukraine V. Yushchenko, whose residence is nearby) and roughly the same distance again on an unpaved track .
Transfer to the railway station.
