Tour programme

Day 1

• Representatives of the “Pro Karpaty” company meet the tourists at the railway station in Ivano-Frankivsk.
• We suggest starting your journey with an aromatic coffee to give you a boost for the tour in this ethnic city of the Prykarpattia region.
• A tour of the historic centre of Ivano-Frankivsk - a stunning city with a “European face”, rightly considered the cultural centre of the west and one of the most beautiful cities in Ukraine. It is a pleasure to be here at any time of year!
• Lunch during the excursion.
• Transfer to Yaremche
• A walk around Yaremche - the best-known climatic resort. You will have a splendid chance to visit one of the largest and most popular souvenir markets and buy handmade souvenirs (woollen socks, a traditional embroidered vyshyvanka, clay ware and much more in the ethnic style).
• Make a wish in Yaremche? Easily done! The throne of wishes awaits you.
• A walk to the waterfall, which impresses with the sheer force of its rushing water. Beside it you can feel powerful energy and, at the same time, calm and serenity. This is a place to breathe in the scents of the Carpathian forests.
• Arrival in the village of Verkhovyna and check-in at a traditional Hutsul homestead.
• A Hutsul wedding ceremony with Hutsul musicians, dances and songs, the wedding rite and a festive banquet; the guests (that is, you) are met by the young couple with music, the breaking of the kalach loaf and a treat of kalach with honey. Dinner is included in the price of the Hutsul wedding (Hutsul cabbage rolls, varenyky with vurda (highland cheese), boiled potatoes, banosh with huslianka and uzvar), and plenty of Hutsul costume. The entertainment lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

Booking rules Your place in the group is secured only after the manager confirms it. The prepayment depends on the product and we tell you the amount before we confirm your booking.

Running the excursion The excursion runs in any weather. Please arrive at the meeting point 10-15 minutes before departure.

Cancellation by the client Cancellation:
- more than 2 calendar days before the tour starts - we retain 10 % of the price;
- less than 2 calendar days - 50 %;
- no-show without notice - 100 %.
The final amount is based on the costs actually incurred; a breakdown is provided on request. Full terms - Booking Rules, section IX.

If we cancel the tour. We offer another date, another route or an equivalent replacement - or we refund the amount you paid.
