Tour programme
- 09:00 - meeting the guide at Uzhhorod railway station; 09:15 - at Koriatovych Square; 10:00 - Mukachevo railway station
- Departure from Uzhhorod.
- Drive past the village of Serednie, where the guide will tell the story of the eastern outpost of the Knights Templar - Serednie Castle, one of the most mysterious castles not only in Transcarpathia but in all of Ukraine.
- A tour of the historic centre of Mukachevo (the Roman Catholic Cathedral of St Martin, 4th c., the Greek Catholic Cathedral, 9th c., the Town Hall and other landmarks of culture and architecture).
- A tour of Palanok Castle in Mukachevo (9th-8th c.), rightly considered one of the seven architectural wonders of Ukraine.
- Lunch.
- A visit to the castle of love - Saint Miklos (15th c.), located in the village of Chynadiiovo.
- An excursion to the romantic hunting castle of the Counts Schönborn (19th c.). The hunting castle was built in the neo-Romantic style, blending Romanesque and Gothic motifs. An incredibly beautiful piece of architecture! A stroll along the avenues of the old count's arboretum to the spring of youth. A lake with ducks and swans, an enclosure with wild animals. A special aura of serenity reigns here…
- 18:00 - return to Uzhhorod, check-in at the hotel
- 04:30 - Departure of the group from Uzhhorod.
- Crossing the border. Transfer to Budapest.
- Arrival in Budapest. A sightseeing tour of the main landmarks of the "pearl of the Danube".
- Free time, or we visit the main and largest Christmas market of Budapest on Vörösmarty Square (Vörösmarty tér) !!!
- The Karácsonyi vásár market (in English - the Budapest Christmas Fair) usually opens in mid-November, runs until 1 January, and is among the top 10 most beautiful Christmas markets in Europe.
- What makes this Christmas market unique is that only the very best are admitted. A professional jury holds a special selection among all applicants. This means only folk crafts and national produce of the highest quality make it to the market. So it is a true paradise for food lovers: quality, hearty and delicious!!! Here you can taste all the national dishes of Hungary ( we recommend goulash in a bread bowl).
- Hungary is the land of marzipan: marzipan sweets are offered in almost every café and every shop, and of course they are never missing at the Christmas markets either.
- You can warm up at the Christmas market in Budapest with a festive drink: warm cherry beer, raspberry punch or fragrant mulled wine.
- Besides food and drink, the main Budapest market sells a great many festive trinkets, souvenirs, clothes and leather bags.
- 18:00 - the group gathers and departs from Budapest. In a festive mood we head back to Uzhhorod!

- Market Square, Korzo Street, the Hasidic synagogue, the pedestrian bridge over the Uzh River, Sándor Petőfi Square, the linden alley, the Czech quarter, the alpinarium, the Roman Catholic Church of St George (18th c.), the House of St Gisela, the Greek Catholic Cathedral and the bishops' residence (18th c.), the square of Empress Maria Theresa, the mini sculptures and the coffee houses of Uzhhorod .
- A tour of ancient Uzhhorod will bring many discoveries and vivid, uplifting impressions. Here every little street and every house breathes antiquity, and underfoot lies old cobblestone from the Czech or Austrian period. No wonder - the official history of the city spans more than 1,100 years. The city amazes with its variety of architectural styles: Gothic, Baroque, Secession, Constructivism, Renaissance… and all this diversity forms a single architectural ensemble of Uzhhorod.
- You are in for a stroll along the old Korzo Street, whose name in Italian slang means "a place for strolling" (it lives up to it fully). Koriatovych Square, formerly known as the Market Square, has been famous for its market days since ancient times - back in 1380 the King of Hungary granted the city the honourable right to hold royal fairs.

- By good old tradition : on New Year's Eve - off to the bathhouse! No, better still - into the hot tubs ! Transfer to Lumshory.
- The old highland village of Lumshory: bathing in the tubs. Bathing in hydrogen-sulphide tubs heated over an open fire is a fantastic pleasure! Exhilarating, enjoyable and good for you! Those who have felt the healing power of the tub say that the wonderful sense of well-being lasts a long time afterwards! ( a gift from the company )
- A tasting lunch of the best Transcarpathian dishes (16 dishes + uzvar + plum brandy from grandpa Myshko - included in the price! )
- Return to the hotel.
- Free time. Getting ready to see in the New Year of 2027!
