Tour programme
- 8.00 - meeting the group at Ivano-Frankivsk railway station
- Getting to know Ivano-Frankivsk in the format of an interactive quest. It will be fun and interesting!
- Departure from Ivano-Frankivsk to the high-mountain Rakhiv district of the Transcarpathian region. Along the way there are very scenic stretches of road: viaduct bridges, steep climbs and descents, tunnels and incredible Carpathian landscapes.
- Arrival in the village of Dilove.
- A light trail lunch.
- Ascent to the Strunhy high pasture. Trekking - approx. 13 km, elevation gain 1,000 m (the hike takes approx. 5 hours), or transfer by off-road vehicle (approx. 2 hours; at extra cost). Route difficulty: 5 (easy, comfortable).
- 20.00-21.00 - Arrival at the mountain hut. This high-mountain refuge hut is the only one of its kind in Ukraine and has all the conveniences: running water, a bathroom and electricity. There is even a banya here!
- Dinner - every romantic's dream: up on the high pasture a real gourmet evening by the campfire awaits you! It will be delicious and romantic!

- Somewhere out there on the border with Romania, in a snug corner of the Ukrainian Carpathians, lie the Marmarosy mountains. This range is quite unlike the rest of our Carpathians. In spring and summer the Marmarosy turn into true Alpine meadows that delight the eye with the lush blossom of all kinds of plants! That is why people call them the Hutsul Alps.
- Ascent to the Marmarosy ridge and the conquest of Mount Pip Ivan (1,936 m), duration: 2.5-3 hours. In shape this mountain resembles an Egyptian pyramid with steep jagged slopes. In spring, when the snow melts from the summit, small lakes form around the mountain.
- Trail lunch
- Return to the base. Free time: a walk in the forest, gathering herbs, mushrooms or berries.
- Dinner cooked over an open fire.
- A fun interactive "Carpathian game" by the campfire.
- Those who wish can enjoy the banya.
- Overnight in the hut.
- Breakfast in the hut.
- A hike to Mount Petros Marmaroskyi or Berlebashka. The Marmarosy are the oldest mountains of the Carpathians and have preserved their pristine beauty. Here, as thousands of years ago, there are stern summits, rocky slopes, forests of fluffy spruces, sweeping high pastures covered with narcissi and "red rue", and the mirror-like surface of mountain lakes. You may already have heard many accounts of how beautiful the Marmarosy are, but only there will you understand just how magnificent they are!!!
- Trail lunch.
- Next comes the shepherds' hut. More precisely, it is a high-mountain sheep farm with its own cheese dairy. This is where the sheep spend the night, where the shepherds live, milk the ewes and make cheese. Here you can try fresh sheep's milk and cheese. Truly delicious!
- Dinner cooked over an open fire.
- Those who wish can enjoy the banya.
- Overnight in the hut.
- 7.00 Early breakfast. Packing up. Descent to the village of Dilove in the Rakhiv district.
- A well-earned lunch at the "Centre of Europe" kolyba (hearty and tasty Transcarpathian bohrach). It is here that the memorial marker stands denoting the geographical centre of Europe, erected by the Austrians in 1877.
- Departure from Rakhiv. Rakhiv is the capital of the Hutsul region and the venue of one of the most colourful festivals, "Hutsul Bryndzia".
- Approx. 18.00 arrival in Ivano-Frankivsk.

The excursion runs in any weather. Please arrive at the meeting point 10-15 minutes before departure.
Cancellation by the client

- no-show without notice - 100 %.
