Tour programme
- Departure from Uzhhorod at 04:00 and from Mukachevo at 04:50.
- The drive across Hungary takes about eight hours with technical stops.
- At around 12:30 the coach enters Vienna and the guided part begins straight away: the Ring with the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater, then the Hofburg, St Stephen's Cathedral and the Opera - all from the outside, with the group leader explaining how the city's main boulevard grew out of the line of its fortifications.
- After the guided walk the evening is free: coffee and cake in a traditional café, the Naschmarkt, the museum quarter, or simply a wander through the narrow lanes behind the cathedral.
- Museums and palaces are optional; entrance tickets are paid separately.
- The overnight stay is at a 3* hotel in Győr or Mosonmagyaróvár, roughly an hour and a half from Vienna.
- This is a deliberate choice: Hungarian accommodation keeps the tour price noticeably below a Viennese one, and in the morning we are back in the city ahead of the main flow of tourists.
- Breakfast at the hotel and the drive to Schönbrunn, the Habsburgs' summer residence.
- The park and gardens are freely open: the Gloriette on the hill, the Neptune Fountain, the parterre beds and the viewing terrace, from which the city's outline reads clearly.
- The state rooms of the palace are optional and the ticket is paid separately; anyone not going inside stays in the park or walks over to the neighbouring zoo.
- Then there is time for last purchases and lunch in town at your own expense.
- Departure for home at 14:30, back along the same road with rest stops.
- The estimated arrival in Uzhhorod is around 22:30; the group leaves the coach in Mukachevo earlier.
- The exact time depends on the situation at the border, so the schedule remains approximate.
- The group leader is with you both days: advising where to eat, how Vienna's transport works and how long is left before the meeting time.

Your place in the group is secured only after the manager confirms it. The prepayment depends on the product and we tell you the amount before we confirm your booking. After that we send you the itinerary, the departure time and the meeting point.
Cancellation by you.
Cancellation:
- more than 2 calendar days before the tour starts - we retain 10 % of the price;
- less than 2 calendar days - 50 %;
- no-show without notice - 100 %.

If we cancel the tour.
We offer another date, another route or an equivalent replacement - or we refund the amount you paid.
Participation terms.
Children under 14 travel only when accompanied by an adult. The number of places is limited by the size of the group.
Changes to the itinerary.
The organiser may make minor changes to the itinerary because of road, weather, technical or other circumstances.
Frequently asked questions
Travelling abroad requires a foreign passport - biometric, or with a valid visa. A domestic passport or a driving licence is not accepted at the border. Children must have their own foreign passports. Queues at the border are possible and travel time depends on them, so the schedule is approximate.
Season: all year round. The departure date is on request: we set it around group formation, which is why specific days are not published on this page. Send an enquiry and the manager will name the nearest possible dates.
The estimated ticket budget is about UAH 1,300 (to be confirmed). Entrance fees, optional extras, lunches and dinners are not included in the tour price and are paid separately on site - this keeps the price fair for those who skip some of the sights.
