Pro Karpaty is a licensed tour operator based in Uzhhorod, working across Zakarpattia, the Carpathians and neighbouring Europe since 2008. Departures run from Uzhhorod, Koriatovycha Square, and from Mukachevo; joining in other towns of the region can be arranged - just mention it when you book.

One-day excursions: three directions

Excursions around Zakarpattia - castles, thermal baths, Synevyr, Kolochava, Berehovo. Excursions to the Carpathians - mountains, waterfalls, high meadows and scenic routes; here it is worth checking how much walking each one involves, because it varies. One-day excursions to Europe - five countries and sixteen routes with no hotel nights: Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Poland and Austria. Prices start at ₴2,500 per person, and a trip takes between 14 and 20 hours including the drive and the border.

Multi-day tours

Tours of 2-4 days are a different format: nights in 3-4* hotels with breakfast, daytime transfers and wider coverage. European routes start at ₴6,500 per person; the price includes transport, a group leader, accommodation and medical insurance.

If you need a different format

An individual excursion with a private guide - when the route and the day are built around you. Active holidays - rafting, jeep tours, horse riding, the ascent of Hoverla. Recovery - thermal baths, spa and an unhurried pace. There are also corporate trips, school excursions and VIP programmes with private transport and a dedicated manager.

If you are not tied to a date yet, start with the excursion schedule, which shows which routes run on which days of the week. Both tools show the same timetable, simply from different angles.

What the price includes

For one-day excursions it covers transport by comfortable coach and the work of the guide according to the programme. Entrance tickets to museums and castles, meals, souvenirs and personal expenses are paid separately; medical insurance is not included in one-day trips and can be arranged if needed. A lunch stop and free time for photographs are always part of the programme.

Documents and children

For trips abroad you need a biometric international passport valid for at least three months after the return date; an internal passport or ID card will not do, and a child travels on their own international passport. Children under 14 are accepted only when accompanied by an adult. Most excursions have a children's discount.

How to book
