Fortunately, the rail connections to Mukachevo are well developed, and you can reach it from practically any corner of Ukraine. You can travel to Mukachevo by direct train without changes from Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Poltava. Tourists from other cities need to change at Lviv or Kyiv.

Before booking a seat, you can ask the driver questions. Book your seat on the trip online. After that you will receive the driver’s phone number so you can contact them quickly. Arrive at the planned meeting point on time - don’t be late! Don’t forget to bring the necessary amount of cash that you will have to pay the driver for your seat.
If you plan to travel by plane, it is worth noting that there is no operating airport on the territory of Mukachevo or the Mukachevo district. You will have to fly to Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa or Lviv, and then travel onwards by private car, train or bus. If you are travelling to Transcarpathia from a neighbouring country, then for a separate fee the Uzhhorod Excursion Bureau provides transfer services, as well as VIP transfer services.
